Guidelines and Policies
Attendance Policy
Member is required to attend weekly meetings or send a substitute in his/her place.
Members are expected to advise a member of the Leadership team in advance if they will be unable to attend a meeting, regardless if a substitute will attend in their place
Members are allowed 4 absences every 6 month period
If the number of absences exceeds 4 in a 6 month period, the member’s seat will be opened up to other businesses in that same profession
Andy special circumstances will be addressed by the leadership team
Membership Policy
Only 1 member per profession is allowed
If two professions should overlap, you will be asked to choose a very specific portion of your business to represent to the group.
Applications will be reviewed by the membership committee. You will be notified of your acceptance. Applications not approved will be refunded the full application fee
A person my visit a maximum of two meetings prior to joining
All policy changes will be made by the Leadership team and approved by a majority vote of the group.
Every member will need to submit a renewal application each year, subject to approval by the membership committee
Fee Policy
Application fee of $50 is due upon submission of application
An annual membership fee of $50 is due no later than January 10 of each year. Addition fees include administration fees of $25 payable semi-annually no later than March 10th and September 10th of each year. Fees will be prorated for joiners after July 1st.
Fees allow us to secure meeting space, purchase refreshments, pay for forms and other necessary paperwork, and other expenses which are normally discussed and agreed upon by the entire group.
Additional expenses may be payable as discussed and agreed upon by the group for costs associated with group activities, etc.
Meeting Format
We are a professional group, and a set agenda will be followed at each weekly meeting
Members are expected to arrive at the meeting location no later than 8:15 a.m. to participate in open networking. Our formal meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. sharp
Any changes to the agenda will be decided upon by the Leadership team.
Every member will be given an opportunity to promote their business at each weekly meeting
Every member will be given the opportunity for a 10 minute presentation to the group at least once during the year. Timing will be based upon a rotation schedule set by the Secretary.
